Over the last few years, Motive has focused on solving a challenge every physical operations leader knows too well. Critical workflows are too often scattered across disconnected systems — vehicle tracking, safety, spend, and workforce data all living in separate tools, with no single source of truth.
That’s why we built the Motive Integrated Operations Platform, an AI-powered system that brings all of your data together in one place, giving you real-time visibility and control across your operations. But visibility is only the first step. Now we’re moving from AI that simply surfaces insights to AI that helps do more of the work for you — reducing risk, eliminating manual tasks, and allowing you to focus on what matters most.

360-degree visibility with AI Omnicam Plus

Many collisions don’t happen in front of the vehicle — they happen in blind spots, during lane changes, or while backing up.
AI Omnicam Plus extends AI visibility beyond the road ahead, giving you true 360-degree awareness around the vehicle. It’s a highly scalable system that works with Motive cameras or many of the cameras you already have — so you can expand visibility without starting from scratch.
You can connect multiple cameras around the vehicle — side, rear, cargo, or passenger — and bring them together into a single, intelligent system.
Drivers get a live, in-cab view of what’s happening around them, with AI-powered alerts highlighting nearby hazards like vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians — helping them make safer decisions in real time. AI Omnicam Plus continuously monitors blind spots across all connected camera feeds, drawing awareness to risks as they enter the vehicle’s surroundings.
And like AI Dashcam Plus, AI Omnicam Plus is built on the same high-performance Qualcomm processor and powered by the same highly accurate AI foundation behind Driver Safety. The same intelligence extends beyond the vehicle to jobsites and yards, unlocking new use cases like PPE detection — helping teams identify safety risks and take action faster.
New advancements for AI Dashcam Plus
We also announced new capabilities for AI Dashcam Plus, our advanced AI dash cam that brings telematics and camera functionality together in a single device. The hardware works alongside advanced AI to identify unsafe driving behavior and deliver real-time alerts directly to drivers. With AI Dashcam Plus, teams gain greater visibility, faster response times, and the ability to prevent more collisions on the road.
New capabilities include:
AI Dashcam Plus: Collision avoidance

Powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ QCS6490 processor, AI Dashcam Plus delivers 3x more processing power than other leading dash cams, enabling it to run 30+ high-precision AI models simultaneously.
Two road-facing lenses work together to give AI Dashcam Plus human-like depth perception. A wide lens captures the full scene and everything in the driver’s periphery, while a zoom lens captures detail far down the road. Combined with the Qualcomm processor, the AI can model the physics of an entire scene in real time, on the device.
Instead of measuring distance frame by frame like traditional forward collision warning systems, Collision Avoidance maps how every object is moving through space and predicts where it’s heading, whether that’s another vehicle, a cyclist, a pedestrian, or an animal. If a path is on a collision course with your driver, an alert fires earlier, giving drivers the seconds they need to react before it’s too late.
AI Dashcam Plus: Capturing critical evidence with Automated License Plate Recognition

While AI dash cams can help prevent collisions, not every incident can be avoided. And when something does happen, the other driver doesn’t always stick around. Nearly one in seven collisions on U.S. roads is a hit-and-run, and that number keeps climbing.
That’s why we introduced Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR). Using a high-resolution zoom lens, Motive can clearly capture license plates — even at a distance — and automatically surface that information when an incident occurs, along with the make, model, color, and body style of the vehicle.
This gives teams the critical evidence they need to resolve incidents faster, reduce liability, and protect drivers in situations like hit-and-runs or theft. Built for real-world conditions, ALPR works across multiple lanes, at highway speeds, day or night — even in challenging conditions like rain or snow.
AI Dashcam Plus: Preventing more risk with new AI safety detections

AI Dashcam Plus enables teams to see more, act faster, and prevent more collisions. With AI-powered Speed Sign Detection, for example, advanced computer vision reads speed limit signs directly off the road — instead of relying on map databases, which are often outdated. By tracking signs in real time, it ensures that drivers are only alerted when they are actually speeding. This eliminates false alerts, builds driver trust, and enables more effective coaching.
AI Dashcam Plus: Enable hands-free communication with live two-way calling

When conditions change on the road, reaching a driver quickly and safely matters. Relying on a separate mobile phone is unreliable and unsafe. Phones aren’t always accessible, batteries die, and handheld phone use is illegal in many states.
Live two-way calling enables managers to reach drivers directly through the AI Dashcam Plus. By calling directly from the Motive Dashboard or Fleet App, managers can address time-sensitive issues like fatigued driving, weather emergencies, maintenance issues, and more. Drivers, meanwhile, can respond safely hands-free without having to use their phones.
Atlas, Motive’s AI-powered assistant, takes action across your operations

Managing physical operations means constantly switching between systems, chasing down information, and manually taking action.
That’s why we introduced Atlas, Motive’s new AI-powered Assistant. Built into every part of the Motive platform, Atlas understands your data, your drivers, your workflows, and remembers context. It doesn’t just surface insights. Rather, it takes action on your behalf.
It can prioritize what needs attention, identify emerging risks, and execute tasks like pulling reports, identifying drivers, or sending targeted communications — all in seconds.
Atlas extends beyond the dashboard into the cab with Motive’s Voice Assistant.
Drivers can interact hands-free to sign in, find fuel stops, check conditions, and get real-time guidance — all without taking their eyes off the road.
Atlas brings a single conversational experience to your entire operation — reducing manual work, improving safety, and helping teams move faster.
AI-powered Automations scales automated workflows across your operations

Too many teams are stuck reacting to problems instead of preventing them.
Automations change that by shifting fleet operations from reactive to proactive.
Powered by Motive AI and embedded directly into the Motive Platform, Automations give organizations a single place to turn manual processes into scalable, automated workflows. Teams define the conditions and actions once, then AI takes the actions for you.
Once live, Automations trigger action in real time — alerting drivers before HOS violations, assigning training when risky behaviors hit a threshold, or disabling cameras in restricted geofences, along with hundreds of other scenarios.
The result is a more proactive operation with less manual work and more time for strategic decisions.
AI Vision for Waste Services: Capture more revenue, reduce costs, and resolve disputes faster

Most automations today focus on the work that happens in the office. But what about the manual work your drivers and field workers do every day, like logging service issues or site hazards? Today, we’re excited to introduce AI Vision for waste services — computer vision models that automatically capture overages, contamination, and visual proof for service verification.
The result: more revenue, lower costs, and faster dispute resolution, all without manual input from your drivers.
That’s why we’ve partnered with leading waste companies to train custom AI models that accurately detect overages, day or night, rain or shine, without manual driver input. Waste operators can grow revenue with AI-powered Overage Detection, resolve customer disputes faster with Service Verification, and reduce costs and stay EPR compliant with AI-powered Contamination Detection.
Coming soon, the Motive AI Dashcam Plus and AI Omnicam will automatically capture visual evidence at every service event, while contamination will be detected at the point of service so teams can follow up with customers before issues result in costly fines.
Waste services is where we started, but the same AI Vision platform can be trained to solve operational problems across any industry. Every industry has work that depends on someone in the field seeing and documenting the world around them. AI Vision automates that, turning what your vehicles already see into actionable data without adding manual work for your drivers.
Motive Card now available in Apple and Google digital wallets

For most drivers, paying for fuel and other on-the-road purchases still depends on having a physical fleet card on hand. When a driver forgets their card, leaves it behind, or needs to key in additional information before the transaction can be completed, a routine purchase becomes a source of friction and delay.
Now Motive Card works with Apple Pay and Google Wallet. Drivers can add their physical Motive Card to their digital wallet, ensuring they’re never blocked at the pump — even if they don’t have the card with them. Additionally, virtual cards can be issued directly to fleet managers and back-office employees, who can save them to their own digital wallets and tap-to-pay without ever needing to carry a physical card.
And this is just the beginning.
Instant Card Issuance
Drivers lose cards. Cards get stolen or left behind. And when that happens, operations can grind to a halt. Replacing a physical card can take days, and the job can’t wait. The same problem shows up during driver onboarding. When a new driver is added, teams often have to wait several days for a physical card to arrive before that driver can start using Motive Card.
Coming later in Q3, Motive will roll out Instant Card Issuance, allowing managers to instantly issue Motive Card to digital wallets. Rather than manually placing physical card orders for new drivers or back-office employees, managers will be able to create Automations to carry out this task as part of onboarding. In the same workflow, a digital version of the new card will be pushed to the driver to add to their digital wallet.
Similarly, for lost or stolen cards, you’ll be able to create an Automation to replace the misplaced physical card, while simultaneously pushing the new one to the driver’s digital wallet so they can keep spending.
For operations teams, the value is immediate. Drivers can pay faster with tap-to-pay. Teams spend less time dealing with card issues and reimbursement follow-up. For finance leaders, more spend stays on Motive Card instead of leaking to personal cards or other providers, improving visibility and helping maintain policy compliance.
Customize AI Coach to fit your operation

Every organization operates differently, but coaching tools are often rigid — making it hard to reflect your policies, priorities, and driver experience. One-size-fits-all coaching limits impact and adoption.
That’s why we’re continuing to expand AI Coach to give organizations more control over how coaching works in the real world.
New AI Coach features enable teams to:
- Expand coaching beyond safety to target unproductive idling, compliance issues, and spend behaviors, so you can reduce risk, cut fuel waste, and enforce policy in one place.
- Reinforce positive performance with proactive, AI-generated sessions that highlight clean weeks and recognize what drivers are doing right.
- Control how coaching is delivered by choosing which behaviors trigger AI sessions and how often drivers receive them.
- Ensure coaching reflects your policies and language by uploading your company guidelines for AI to reference in every message.
- Create a more relatable coaching experience with new standard or fully custom avatars, and assign avatars to specific drivers or groups.
By adapting to your operation, AI Coach follows drivers and managers across the platform to deliver consistent, relevant coaching on safety, compliance, idling/spend, and equipment health — and gives managers time back to focus on what’s next.
More breakthrough products launched at Vision 26
Door and Environmental Sensor: Unifying cold chain visibility and improving cargo security

For fleet operators moving high-value or temperature-sensitive cargo, even the smallest climate deviation or unauthorized door opening can lead to compliance issues and lost revenue through spoilage and cargo theft.
To close those gaps, Motive is introducing Door and Environmental Sensor, a wireless sensor that combines accurate climate monitoring with door status data in one device. The Motive Door and Environmental Sensor gives fleet and operations leaders real-time visibility across both reefer monitoring and cargo security, so they can protect loads without adding manual work or more disconnected tools.
By capturing door status and environmental conditions in one device, Motive Door and Environmental Sensor helps fleet managers:
- Monitor temperature and other environmental conditions around the cargo.
- Know exactly when and where cargo doors open and close.
- Tie those events directly to drivers, vehicles, and routes through Motive’s platform.
The result is a clearer picture of what happens in transit, without adding complexity for your back office.
Driver Rewards: Motivate drivers and reinforce safe behavior

Driver retention has become a critical challenge across the physical economy. Many large organizations routinely report annual driver turnover rates nearing 90%, and the cost of losing a single driver has climbed to roughly $13,000. For a fleet of 1,000 drivers, that adds up to nearly $12 million in annual turnover costs.
Despite these high stakes, many organizations still rely on coaching models that focus primarily on mistakes. Recognition is often manual, inconsistent, and difficult to scale — leaving drivers disengaged.
That’s why we built Driver Rewards, a new feature in Motive Workforce Management that automatically turns everyday performance into incentives. With Driver Rewards, Motive makes it easy to reward safe, efficient, and compliant behavior while reducing manual work for managers and improving overall fleet performance, at scale.
With Driver Rewards, organizations can build customizable, data-driven programs focused on the behaviors that matter most — from safety and fuel efficiency to smart spending — all aligned with their operational goals.
And when drivers are worthy of recognition, organizations will be able to reward them with real earnings — delivered instantly to a Motive Card.
AI-powered Document Management to reduce manual entry and help prevent errors

Across organizations of all sizes, document management is still largely manual and paper-based. Teams are often stuck tracking expirations, reprinting paperwork, and filing documents in the right place across vehicles, trailers, and driver files — a time-consuming, error-prone process where any missed step can lead to compliance violations, failed inspections, or fines.
Document Management, powered by Motive AI, replaces those manual workflows with a single, centralized system. Teams can store documents digitally, automatically extract key information, track expirations with alerts, and share up-to-date files directly with drivers through the Motive Driver App — so everyone has what they need, when they need it.
The result is less manual work, fewer missed deadlines, and a simpler way to keep documents accurate, organized, and inspection-ready.
Embedded commercial navigation, now available in the Motive Driver App

Today, drivers use the Motive Driver App to manage compliance, maintenance, and other tasks in one place, but navigation has often lived in a separate app.
Motive’s new embedded commercial navigation experience is built directly into the Motive Driver App. Drivers can now follow navigation with truck-safe turn-by-turn directions with no need to utilize external passenger vehicle-focused navigation apps.
With embedded commercial navigation, drivers get route suggestions and turn-by-turn guidance designed for commercial vehicles, with routes tailored to vehicle dimensions, weight, axle count, and hazmat restrictions. This helps keep drivers on legal, vehicle-appropriate roads, improve arrival time accuracy, and avoid routes that are unsafe, restricted, or physically impossible for trucks.
Because navigation now lives inside the Driver App, drivers can see a more complete picture of their day in one workflow. They can manage dispatches and routes in the same app they already use for compliance and inspections, while staying aware of key information like available drive time without bouncing between tools. For drivers, that means less context switching, less uncertainty, and less stress on the road.
For back-office teams, embedded navigation helps bring routing, dispatch, and operations into one connected system. Motive’s dispatch tools already support real-time progress tracking, predicted routes, ETAs, and live updates in the dashboard, helping teams monitor deliveries and keep work on schedule. By adding commercial-safe navigation into that workflow, teams gain better visibility, more control, and a more connected driver experience.
A new faster, more actionable Fleet View with the new Live Map

Motive has launched a new Live Map experience built for speed, clarity, and scale. The new Live Map experience in Fleet View gives teams faster, more reliable, and more actionable insights, all within the Motive platform. It’s designed to reduce cognitive load, improve everyday workflows, and help teams act with more confidence when time matters most.
With smart geographic clustering and persistent views, users can return to the same map location and zoom level from their previous session. Fleet managers can view real-time status and key details directly on the map, reducing the need for constant screen-switching, while configurable information cards let each role see the details most relevant to their workflow.
Built to perform at scale, the updated architecture is designed to support progressive loading for large fleets and deliver reliable GPS fleet tracking with minimized latency. The result is a faster, more dependable experience that makes it easier to stay ahead, respond faster, and act with confidence.
Introducing Severe Weather Events powered by Atlas

Extreme weather doesn’t just cause delays and disrupt operations. Staying on top of it creates a large amount of manual work as fleet managers and their teams monitor multiple weather sources to track risk and keep drivers safe.
With Atlas, Motive’s AI-powered assistant, severe weather events are automatically identified and surfaced, so managers get visibility sooner and can respond faster – right through the Motive Dashboard. Fleet managers can:
- See severe weather events directly on the live map.
- Automatically know which drivers and vehicles are affected.
- Send a broadcast to drivers without switching between tools.
Instead of piecing together updates from weather apps, browser tabs, and manual outreach, teams get a more connected workflow inside the Motive platform. That means managers can quickly send targeted broadcast messages to affected drivers.
The result is faster communication when conditions change and a more efficient response when time matters most.
One platform, built to act
The Motive platform was built to replace fragmented systems and bring operations into one connected experience.
Now, it’s evolving again.
From visibility to action, insight to automation.
With AI embedded across every workflow, Motive helps teams reduce risk, improve efficiency, and run their operations with greater confidence.
Instead of reacting to problems, you can prevent them.
