How does Motive Beacon help recover stolen or misplaced equipment?
If an asset is stolen or removed from a geofenced area, the Motive Beacon uses Bluetooth pings across the Motive Mesh Network to help locate it. Alerts notify you when equipment moves unexpectedly, improving chances of recovery and minimizing downtime.
Can I use Motive Beacon indoors and outdoors?
Yes. Motive Beacon is IP67-rated, meaning it’s waterproof and dustproof. It performs reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments, making it suitable for job sites, warehouses, and transportation hubs.
