AI that delivers results 

Lane swerving detection 

Repeated swerving is one of the clearest signs a driver may be fatigued or distracted. In fact, 79% of fatigue-related collisions involve lane swerving. Yet without constant monitoring, these warning signs are easy to miss, especially if you don’t use a driver-facing dash cam.

Motive is the first and only provider to offer AI-powered Lane Swerving Detection, detecting repeated lane swerving over time, not just a single lane departure. It helps you identify patterns of risky driving and alerts you to reach out to drivers before it leads to a serious collision.


Workforce Management 

Managing a distributed workforce has never been more complex. Manual processes make it difficult to deliver timely coaching, effectively train workers, and track compliance documents, especially with drivers scattered across different locations. These gaps slow operations, raising the risk of missed deadlines, costly errors, and inconsistent safety outcomes.

Device Hub 

We unveiled Motive’s new Device Hub — a centralized solution designed to transform the way you manage and monitor every Motive connected device across your fleet. Fleets can now enjoy powerful, unified control over their technology — translating into less downtime, increased efficiency, and greater peace of mind. The Device Hub initially includes the ability to manage the Vehicle Gateway and AI Dashcams, with additional devices to follow later this year.


Spend Management 

Motive is the only operations platform with integrated Spend Management, offering fuel rebates and up to 2.5% cashback on all fleet spend to help fleets maximize savings. If you’ve yet to explore how much you could save, check out the Motive Card savings calculator. 

Our latest innovations for Motive Card include:

  • The ability to tag assets to transactions, giving fleets clear visibility into the cost of ownership of their assets (e.g., reefers)
  • Virtual Cards, which provide flexibility for online payments and enhanced fraud protection


Safety events refresh

A safety manager’s day moves fast – keeping tabs on driver performance, responding to incidents, and coaching drivers to improve safety outcomes. Reviewing safety events is a key part of that work, but it’s not just about checking boxes. It’s about having the right context to make confident coaching decisions.

Motive’s refreshed Safety Events and Event Detail pages are designed to help you do exactly that. With new event insights, a streamlined interface, and more information at your fingertips, you can work through events faster, see the full story, and coach with greater impact.


Confidential safety events

Managing safety means balancing accountability with privacy. Collisions and unsafe behaviors can involve highly sensitive content, and not every person in your organization should have access to that footage. You can now limit or restrict access to related video footage, preventing unauthorized access and external sharing to protect driver privacy. Assign permissions with ease, allowing designated users to mark certain safety events as confidential and controlling who can access specific videos.


AI Dashcam customizations

With a wide range of vehicles, driving environments, and compliance requirements, what works for one part of your fleet might not work for another. Our new AI Dashcam customizations provide the flexibility you need to fine-tune your dash cam settings. As a result, you can provide personalized support to your drivers, reduce distractions, and achieve your safety goals. 

Other new customizations for the AI Dashcam make it easy to adjust in-cab alerts, LED brightness, recording preferences, and language options to match the needs of every vehicle and every driver.

Risk zone geofence alerts
