Motive AI Dashcams helped this 26-vehicle fleet improve visibility into safety, exonerate drivers faster, and unlock meaningful earnings through the Amazon Relay safety rewards program.
For Noe Herrera, safety has long been a core part of running a successful fleet. As the owner of N & H Trucking LLC, a 26-vehicle operation hauling more than 500 Amazon Relay loads each week, Herrera depends on technology that helps protect drivers, improve coaching, and support growth.
A Motive customer since 2018, Herrera has used the platform since the early days of the FMCSA ELD mandate. He had previously tried earlier dash cam technology and moved away from them, but Motive’s AI-powered dash cams changed his view. Today, his entire fleet uses Motive AI Dashcams to help monitor unsafe behaviors, coach drivers in real time, and document what really happens on the road.
That investment in safety also opened the door to a new financial upside. After learning about the Amazon Relay safety rewards beta program Herrera enrolled in September 2025. What started as a safety initiative quickly became a business advantage.
By using Motive and Amazon Relay safety rewards, Herrera’s fleet gets safety technology that helps reduce risk while enabling his business to earn safe driving rewards that support continued growth.

Like many carriers, N & H Trucking LLC needed a better way to protect drivers, respond quickly to incidents, and reinforce safe driving habits across the operation.
Earlier dash cam technology had not delivered enough value, so Herrera initially removed it from his trucks. But as the business grew, so did the need for clearer visibility into what was happening on the road. Without reliable video evidence and real-time safety insights, fleets can face unnecessary exposure during claims, slower coaching cycles, and missed opportunities to improve driver performance.
There was also a broader business question around data sharing. Some carriers remain hesitant to share operational and safety data with third-parties, despite already sharing location data with brokers and platforms as part of everyday operations. Herrera saw the need to reframe that conversation around data sharing. If organizations are already generating and sharing this data, he believed they should be able to benefit from it.
At the same time, the business was expanding. After growing from 21 to 26 vehicles, N & H Trucking LLC was looking for ways to support continued growth while running a safer, more efficient operation.
Herrera rolled out Motive’s AI Dashcams across his full fleet. The platform now helps the team identify unsafe behaviors such as close following, hard turns, and rolling through stop signs, giving Herrera the ability to coach drivers right away by text or phone.
For the fleet, one of the biggest benefits has been fast access to video evidence. In one collision, a pickup truck crossed lanes and hit one of Herrera’s trucks. Using Motive footage at the scene, the team was able to show highway patrol exactly what happened.
The officer quickly determined fault, and the insurance process moved forward with clear supporting evidence.
That kind of visibility has made Motive a practical tool for both safety management and driver protection.
Herrera also enrolled N & H Trucking LLC in the Amazon Relay safety rewards program, which rewards fleets for collision-free miles. The signup process was straightforward, and once enrolled, the fleet began earning rewards based on mileage and safe performance.
“You still need to be focused on safety anyways. If you’re already on the road, just share the data showing how safe you are, and get paid for it.”
Noe Herrera, Owner, N & H Trucking
Rather than treating the program as passive income, Herrera turned it into an internal motivator. He uses the reward data to reinforce safe habits across the fleet. For Herrera, the program aligned naturally with the way he already thinks about the business: invest in safety first, then find ways to create additional value from the data that follows.
He also sees the program as part of a bigger opportunity. Fleets already share data through tracking tools, brokers, or other partners. In his view, Amazon Relay safety rewards simply gives carriers a way to monetize that reality while staying focused on what matters most: running safely.
With Motive in place, N & H Trucking LLC has improved driver protection, strengthened coaching, and created a new source of revenue tied directly to safe operations.
The financial results have been significant. N & H is on track to max out their earnings for the year with Relay safety rewards and earn up to $14.5k.
Additionally, because N & H has equipped its fleet with Motive AI Dashcams and maintained safe operations, they have benefited from significant savings on insurance premiums.
Those returns have meaningfully changed the economics of the safety investment. Herrera estimates that rewards earned from the Amazon relay safety rewards program effectively covered the annual platform cost of Motive.
The operational value has also been clear. With all 26 vehicles equipped with dash cams, the fleet now has broad visibility across the business. Drivers can be coached more quickly, and when incidents happen, the team has footage available to help protect both the driver and the company.
One of the most important outcomes for N & H Trucking LLC is confidence. Safety technology is no longer just a defensive tool. It is helping the fleet run better, support drivers more effectively, and create new business value at the same time.
As Herrera sees it, fleets that are already committed to safety should take advantage of every opportunity available to them. With Motive and Amazon Relay safety rewards, that commitment is paying off.
