How do you calculate fuel costs and consumption?
The estimated annual fuel spend is derived from projected diesel and gasoline consumption based on usage patterns of similar-sized customer fleets, using assumed prices of $4/gallon for diesel and $3.25/gallon for gasoline. Total annual spend is then estimated by assuming fuel accounts for 40% of overall fleet costs.
