With Confidential Safety Events, you can restrict access to critical incidents, protecting driver privacy and preventing unauthorized sharing.

Granular permissions let you control who can tag or view confidential safety events. Once an event is marked confidential on the Event Detail page, its video and related data are locked across the Motive Dashboard, Driver App, and Fleet App. Only approved managers can view or manage these events, and they can remove the confidential tag later if visibility is needed.

Keep identities confidential 

Motive provides flexible tools to help organizations protect identities in both driver-facing and road-facing footage.

To help protect privacy and support compliance with privacy regulations such as the GDPR and UK GDPR, Motive now automatically blurs faces and license plates in road and driver-facing videos and images in the UK. In North America, you have the ability to enable or disable blurring, or choose to only blur passengers. Face and license plate blurring is available now in the UK and will be available in North America later this year.
