The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will host a two-day event this week as part of its popular ELD Implementation National Tour.
The event will take place at Davis Travel Center in Stoney East. Va, on October 11 and 12. Subject-matter experts will conduct presentations and sessions to educate drivers and carriers on ELD implementation.
If you are a driver or a carrier facing obstacles on the way to a smooth ELD transition, visit the support team between 8 a.m. — 5 p.m. You can seek direct assistance and find FMCSA-registered ELD providers.
The program also includes a special driver-focused presentation that will take place from 12:30 to 1: 30 p.m. on both days of the event. Experts will highlight driver-related problems and suggest solutions.
Other than ELD implementation, professionals will also discuss other trucking-related matters. The topics include hours-of-service compliance, commercial driver licenses, and medical programs for drivers.
The FMCSA has also arranged live streaming for those unable to join the event. The program will be broadcasted on their website from 12: 30 p.m. on October 11.
